What the numbers are — and are not
LOADSTAR is a descriptive index: it measures what public records corroboratetoday, with the method open and every figure linked to its source. It is not investment, legal, engineering, or siting advice, and not a forecast — our sealed predictive track record begins resolving in December 2026, and until it does we do not sell accuracy we have not earned. Decisions you make on these numbers are yours; the records we link to are the authority, and we encourage you to check them.
Accuracy and corrections
We make mistakes. When we do, the correction is dated and published on the affected page — see the corrections policy on ourAbout page. The site and its data are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or its data.
API and automated access
The public JSON endpoints exist to be read, including by your scripts and your AI tools — that is the point — within reasonable rate limits we may enforce. We may throttle or block access that degrades the service. Heavy or commercial-scale pulls: write to[email protected].
Trademarks
"LOADSTAR" and the star-and-phantom marks identify this index. Cite us freely; do not present yourself as us, and do not use the marks to imply endorsement.
